Building her legacy for what matters most 

Former Alumna Trustee Jennifer (Jeff) Flather RSC ’86 has always felt strongly about how important up-to-date, functional facilities and building spaces are for our overall well-being and morale. This has been a passion of hers throughout her career in the United States Navy, civilian life and Sage community – where Jeff served on the Board’s Facilities Committee.
 
Jeff had already established an endowed fund in her name for the continued improvement of Sage’s buildings and facilities, Troy campus. But this past year Jeff added a provision in her will to strengthen her fund for generations to come. “My desire in establishing this fund now, and with a future gift in my will, is to provide Facilities with extra support if a project should be deferred due to budget shortfall.  I couldn’t have made this gift as impactful without the bequest. It feels great knowing that in the future, the earnings from my fund will help get the job done.”
